Q: What should I wear to the class? |
|
A: It is important that you wear something that you feel comfortable in, whether it is exercise wear, or jeans or even skirts.
The shoes should not be high heels and they should not be heavy shoes.
You may sweat during the workout so you may wish to bring a change of top for when the class finishes. Also, you may wish to bring a bottle of water for during the workout. |

Q: How old does the baby need to be? |
|
A: The minimum recommended age for the baby is 6 weeks. By this time the baby is stronger and can be carried comfortably in a sling or baby carrier. Similarly, by this time, mums are normally ready to start with their post-natal exercises (we recommend that you consult with your GP before starting this or any other post-natal exercise program).
There is no upper age limit for your child. What is important is that you are comfortable carrying your baby in the baby carrier or sling for the duration of the classes and also classes are self-paced you can take rest anytime during the class. |

Q: I'm bit nervous would I be able to do the class? As I am not very fit. |
|
A: Being fit is not a requirement to join the class. The Bollybabies workout does not require you to be fit to enjoy the benefits of exercising.
All the movements and exercises are designed so that they are simple to follow and carry out. Furthermore, during the workout you may take a break whenever you feel and work out at your own pace.
You will become fitter by attending the classes. |

Q: I am new to bollywood steps. Can I still do the class? |
|
A: Sure. We design our classes taking into account the special needs of mums and their babies. The steps are simple and there are no complicated patterns or movements.
You will learn basic steps to various bollywood rhythms and in the process you will workout. Soon you will notice your confidence growing whilst you get better and better at dancing. |

Q: What if my baby starts crying during the class? |
|
A: The Bollybabies classes are designed for mums and their babies, so their needs come first. The great majority of the babies enjoy the music and movement and feel very content and safe close to their mums.
The sound of the music and the movement also helps some babies to fall asleep during the class.
If your baby cries for any reason attend to the baby. You may feed, change or sooth the baby at any time. |

Q: Are the classes being endorsed or approved by the Doctor? |
|
A: The workout has not been endorsed by any particular doctor. However, Most health professionals agree that gentle exercise is beneficial for most new mums.
We recommend that before starting any type of exercise, that you consult with your GP to see if the workout is suitable for you and the baby. |
